Other than the state exam for court translators, there is no established certification verifying professional competence of translators in Poland. In collaboration with freelance translators’ organisations and higher education institutions, POLOT aims to develop a verification system, including its scope and criteria, that will lead eventually to a professional examination for translators.

We aim to create a certification system that will constitute a reliable and universally recognised confirmation of a translator’s expertise in key aspects, including knowledge of source and target languages, specialist terminology, tools, resources and rules of the trade. We want to develop an examination system that will take into account the needs of all involved – clients, translation companies and translators.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ column_link_target=”_self” column_shadow=”none” column_border_radius=”none” width=”1/3″ tablet_width_inherit=”default” tablet_text_alignment=”default” phone_text_alignment=”default” overlay_strength=”0.3″ column_border_width=”none” column_border_style=”solid” bg_image_animation=”none”][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row type=”full_width_background” full_screen_row_position=”middle” column_margin=”default” bg_image=”6446″ bg_position=”center top” bg_repeat=”no-repeat” bg_color=”#cbcbc3″ scene_position=”center” text_color=”light” text_align=”left” top_padding=”10%” bottom_padding=”10%” id=”intro”…

["post-6771","page","type-page","status-publish
["GET
